The JABSOM Gold Humanism Honor Society invites you to join us for Solidarity Week for Compassionate Care!
February 15-19, 2021
This week, we aim to build our toolkit for
- having Challenging Conversations
- learning about COFA Language and Culture, and
- uncovering clinical pearls about Caring for Those in Growing Need: the Unhoused Population
The national Gold Humanism Honor Society office established National Solidarity Day for Compassionate Care in 2011 to highlight the nation-wide movement promoting provider-patient relationships based on caring, personalization, and mutual respect. Since 2016, many GHHS chapters around the country have celebrated a week of events instead of just one day. Compassionate Care Week previously had events that were in-person, but this year, we're learning how to plan social-distance compliant opportunities. Through zoom, we're able to have speakers from different islands and different states all on the same call!
Please send an RSVP (here) to help us gauge interest and attendance
Thank you, and looking forward to having you join us virtually :)
